What do attendees need to know for self scanning?

Depending on how attendance self scanning is set up for your event you may need to communicate some simple instructions to your attendees:

  1. If attendees are scanning QR Codes they need to be made aware of the QR Scanner on the event App.

  2. If attendees are enabled to check in themselves with the event App they need to be made aware of the Scanned icon on the session page. By clicking the Scanned Icon they will be provided with the option to check in.

  3. If attendees are to scan themselves using automated scanning stations they will obviously need to be made aware that of the location of the scanning stations and their QR code on their badge.
