Create abstracts

Abstracts can be displayed in the app and linked to relevant speaker profiles and sessions. These abstracts can either be loaded as an accompanying downloadable PDF or plain text.

Create an abstract content page type

  1. Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
  2. Click Create a New Page from the right-hand options on the Configuration Panel
  3. Select Abstracts from the list of page types
  4. Click Create
  5. Enter a Title for your Abstracts content page type (your abstracts container page)
  6. Click Save

Create abstract

  1. Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
  2. Select your Abstracts content page type
  3. Click +
  4. Enter a Title and Subtitle (if required)
  5. Click Save

Upload abstract PDF

  1. Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
  2. Select your Abstracts content page type
  3. Select your abstract
  4. Navigate to the Documents tab
  5. Click +
  6. Select File Upload
  7. Enter a Title for your abstract PDF and select an icon  (these will be the title and icon to represent the PDF document in the app)
  8. Upload your PDF
  9. Click Save

Upload abstract as text

  1. Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
  2. Select your Abstracts content page type
  3. Select your abstract
  4. Copy abstract text into Abstract Copy text box
  5. Click Save

Link abstract to speakers and a session

  1. Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
  2. Select your Abstracts content page type
  3. Select your abstract
  4. Navigate to Attached Speakers
  5. Select the appropriate speaker/s from the list
  6. Navigate to Attached Sessions
  7. Select the session from the drop-down
  8. Click Save
