What is the Profile List used for and do I need to I need to be a part of it?

The profile list acts as both a list of those attending the event and a contact list.

When a fellow attendee is set to visible, they will appear in the profile list. Depending on their personal privacy settings their personal profile in the profile list can also include additional information such as contact number and email address.

When a fellow attendee is set to visible and allows messaging, they will appear in the profile list and you will be able to send them in-app messages.

How private is private messaging?

Only you are the person you message can see the messages that are sent.

How can I delete a post from the Activity Feed?

If a fellow attendee posts something inappropriate to the Activity Feed, you can report this to your event organiser through the event app..

Note: If a comment is reported, it will remain part of the Activity Feed until deleted by the event organiser.

What is the difference between points and achievements?

Points are awarded for performing single actions such as posting to the activity feed or viewing a notification. Each action is allocated its own number of points for completing the action.

Achievements encourage attendees to perform actions multiple times and engage further in the App. Working with the point system, achievements are awarded on top of any points for completing the action.

How do I earn points on the leaderboard?

Points can be earned through interacting with the app and fellow attendees. For example, viewing push notifications, visiting pages in the app and posting to the Activity Feed all earn points. Points are accrued in the background of the app, and can only be viewed on the leaderboard once they have been earned.
