Upvoting

Upvoting allows attendees to vote for the Submitted Questions they would most like the speaker to address. This feature is similar to a ‘like’ or ‘thumbs up’, indicating to the moderator/speaker which questions the attendees would most like answered.

Please note

This feature is not the same as, or linked, to Audience Polling. This feature is only available for Submitted Questions.

Enable upvoting on Submitted Questions

Any Submitted Questions you would like attendees to upvote will need to be enabled individually per question. Once enabled, these questions will display in-app and attendees can upvote their favourite questions.

TIP

If a question has not been enabled for upvoting, it will not display in-app, only in the Facilitator Panel.

To enable upvoting on Submitted Questions

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel
  2. Select the event
  3. Click Facilitator for the relevant session
  4. Navigate to Submitted Questions from the top menu
  5. Click on the Submitted Question you wish to enable upvoting
  6. Click Add to Upvote Queue

Send top upvoted Submitted Questions to the Display Screen

Once your relevant Submitted Questions have been enabled for upvoting, the top upvoted questions can be displayed on the Display Screen. This can make it easier for the moderator/speaker to address these questions and is a simple way to display how many upvotes the top questions received.

TIP

The top upvoted questions will not live update on the screen. This will need to be left until all upvotes have been collected or must be refreshed for the latest results.

To send top upvoted Submitted Questions to the Display Screen
