Enable Audience Participation

Aside from linking a feedback form to a session, there are three main ways to enable audience participation. These include the use of Ask a Question, the Activity Feed (Attendee Connect Element) and Interactive Sessions (Interactive Sessions Element).

To enable Ask a Question for sessions

Ask a Question allows attendees to submit questions in sessions from the event App.

  1. Navigate to App > Ask a Question from the Navigation Menu
  2. Click the drop-down for the session you wish to enable
  3. Select Enable

Ask a Question can also be enabled via the session page


To submitted questions are viewed in the Core

  1. Navigate to App > Ask a Question from the Navigation Menu
  2. Click on the relevant session
  3. Click Refresh Questions to update the list


To enable Activity Feed session commenting

In-app commenting can be enabled for session pages. When this is turned on, comments left on sessions will appear in the activity feed.

  1. Navigate to Attendee Connect > Activity Feed from the Navigation Menu
  2. Navigate to Allow Commenting on Session Pages
  3. Update to Yes
  4. Click Save


To enable Interactive Sessions

Interactive Sessions allow attendees to interact in a session through the use of live polling and an advanced ask a question feature.

  1. Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
  2. Select your schedule from the list of pages
  3. Select the applicable schedule day from the horizontal tiles
  4. Select pencil icon for the session you wish to make interactive
  5. Select Create Interactive Session from the right-hand options on the Configuration Panel
  6. Click Save
