Page Search
Page searching allows attendees to search a container page with a number of sub-pages by keyword or category.
For example, you can add a search filter bar to list page types - such as speakers, exhibitors or sponsors.
To enable page search:
- Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
- Select the page and sub-page you wish to enable page search
- Click the Details tab
- Navigate to Page Filter Bar and select from the drop-down
- Search Only: Will only allow for page search
- Categories Only: Will only allow for page categorisation
- Both: Will display both page search and page categorisation
- Click Save
Page Categories
Categories allow you to group multiple pages under one category to allow easy searching by your users.
There are three steps to enable category searching. First, the categories need to be created, then a search filter bar needs to be enabled, and finally, sub-pages need to be added to the category.
To create a page category:
- Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
- Select the page and sub-page you wish to enable page search
- Click the Categories tab
- Click the + button
- Input Category Name
- Click Save
To enable page and category search:
- Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
- Select the page and sub-page you wish to enable page search
- Click the Details tab
- Navigate to Page Filter Bar and select from the drop-down
- Search Only: Will only allow for page search
- Categories Only: Will only allow for page categorisation
- Both: Will display both page search and page categorisation
- Click Save
To add sub-pages to a page category:
- Navigate to Content from the Navigation Menu
- Select the page and sub-page you wish to enable page search
- Navigate to Selected Categories from the right-hand options
- Select the relevant categories from the drop-down
- Click Save
