How to add a CMS User to a project
Staff need a CMS User account to access Projects in the CMS. With a User account staff can manage all content, profiles, event app and elements, however different permission levels can be provided to staff depending on their roles. For example, an intern may only be given permission to edit content on existing pages, and not be allowed to delete any pages.
To add a CMS User to a project
- Navigate to Project Configuration > Users from the Navigation Menu
- Click +
- Input the Email Address of the new project user
- Click Next
- Input other required details. If this is pre-filled, this person already has a user account
- Click Save
- Select a User Role
- Click Save
To edit a User’s role
- Navigate to Project Configuration > Users from the Navigation Menu
- Click the drop-down arrow for the relevant user
- Select User’s Roles
- Edit the User’s Roles
- Click Save
To remove a User’s access
- Navigate to Project Configuration > Users from the Navigation Menu
- Click the drop-down arrow for the relevant user
- Select Remove User’s Access
- To confirm click Delete
User Permissions
- Project Adm: Unrestricted access to content and product settings. Manage project users.
- Communication: Send notifications and manage emails marketing campaigns.
- Kiosk Companion: Can manage kiosks via the kiosk companion app.
- Interactive Sessions: Host and manage Interactive Sessions.
- Create Profiles: Able to create and delete profiles.
- Edit Profiles: Edit attendee profile data.
- View Profiles: View attendee profiles, export badges and profile activity reporting
- Design: Setup and manage event app design and appearance.
- Element Settings: Customise element/product settings.
- Content - Full Access: Create and manage all project content, pages and app menu.
- Content - Limited Access: Edit pages and add new sessions, speakers, exhibitors etc. Cannot create or delete pages.
How to reset your password
If a password has been forgotten, a password can be reset through the Core login screen.
To change your password
- Navigate to the Core login page: core.entegy.com.au/login
- Click Forgotten your access details?
- Enter the email address associated with a user profile
- Click Reset
- Follow the Click here to reset your password in the email received
- Input a new password
- Click Login
How to change your password
If a new password needs to be set for a user account, this can be done through the Core.
To change your password
- Navigate to the bottom left-hand menu and select your name
- Select Account
- Select My Account from the Menu
- Click the Password tab
- Enter New Password
- Click Save
