FAQ: What device operating systems work with Lead Capture?
A: The Lead Capture app can be used on both iOS and Android devices.
Any iOS devices running at least iOS 8.0, and Android devices running at least Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (API 17), will support the Lead Capture app.
NOTE: For the best experience we recommend devices with resolutions of at least 720x1080, those with lower screen resolution may not display information on the screen correctly (Eg: Older Android devices, iPhone SE).
FAQ: How can exhibitors login to the Capture app
A: Exhibitor staff login to the Capture app using their supplied personal login details or by using a team exhibitor code and completing a signup form. The most suitable option for your event depends on whether your exhibitors will already be pre-registered with profiles in the Core or not.
Personal login details - For exhibitors who are pre-registered with profiles in the Core
Personal login details are assigned to all profiles in the Core and are controlled by the Project Login and Authentication Settings. Login setting are shared across the Entegy suite, therefore these are the same login settings for the event App.
Manage login and authentication settings
Exhibitor Code - For exhibitors who have not registered
Exhibitor Codes can be generated in the Lead Capture Element. These codes can be distributed to Exhibitors who do not have profiles in the Core. Upon login exhibitors will be required to complete a Capture registration form.
FAQ: What do attendees and exhibitors need to know about Lead Capture?
A: To ensure Lead Capture runs smoothly during your event, you may need to communicate to your exhibitors how to use Lead Capture, and to your attendees, so they know how it will work on the day. Below is a list of guides and templates to aid exhibitors using the Capture app, and attendees to explain why exhibitors are scanning them.
Exhibitor guides
Some simple mail merge word document templates have been created to make it easy to communicate to exhibitors how to access and use the Capture App. Once the fields in the template have been merged, these documents can be printed and placed on exhibitor booths ready for the event, or distributed to exhibitors pre-event.
Depending on how your exhibitors will be logging into the Capture app, choose the appropriate template below:
Exhibitor code template for exhibitor signup
Exhibitors who have not pre-registered and don’t have a profile in the Core will access the Capture app through a signup form. Exhibitors will need to be provided their unique exhibitor code and prompted to fill out the signup form.
Exhibitor code template for access code
Exhibitors with their own profile in the Core can access the Capture app by using their personal access details (the same as the event App, if applicable). Exhibitors may need to be reminded what these access details are.
Attendee Communication
We know it’s important to keep your attendees in the loop. Below is a template to create your own attendee flyer about Lead Capture.

This template is a basic flyer to explain to attendees how Lead Capture works and why exhibitors are wanting to scan their badges, rather than take down their information.
FAQ: How do you control what profile data exhibitors can export?
A: Exhibitors can export lead data directly from the Capture app. The profile data that can be exported by exhibitors is controlled in the Core by the event organiser or distributor.
FAQ: Why are email addresses and contact numbers not exporting from the Capture app?
A: You will need to set your Capture export fields and enable the privacy modifiers.

- Navigate to Lead Capture > Settings from the Navigation Menu
- Click the Export Fields tab
- Select the Standard and Custom Fields you wish to make available to exhibitors when they export data from the Capture app

FAQ: What if there is no WIFI?
A: If there is no WIFI captured leads will not be synced, only stored locally on your device.
The Capture app also works using mobile data and this can be used in place of a WIFI connection. An online connection is recommended to ensure leads are synced.
NOTE: If the Capture app is deleted from your device any leads not synced will be lost.
FAQ: When do you need to sync lead data in the Capture app?
A: When connected to the internet through WIFI or data, Capture will sync automatically.
If you go offline, your leads will not be synced, but only stored locally on your device.
Lead data should be synced, when possible, multiple times during the event, and then once more at the end of the event.
This ensures all current leads are synced and can be exported. Even if you are connected to WIFI or data it is good to check on the sync status at the end of the event to ensure no leads are lost.
NOTE: If the Capture app is deleted from your device any leads not synced will be lost.
FAQ: Where can I view capture leads?
A: Live lead data is available directly to each exhibitor through the Capture app. Leads in the Capture app can be viewed and exported on demand by each exhibitor from their own mobile device.
All live Capture data can also be viewed and exported in the Core by generating reports.
