When your event app is set to public access, anyone can access app content. Upon downloading the app, all content and information will be accessible with no login details required. This level of privacy is generally used to events that are open to the public, where attendees don’t have to pre-register and can have full access to the event app.
To use any profile-related app features such as the activity feed or in-app badge, attendees must be logged into the app with a profile or registered via the in-app signup form.
To configure an event app with public access:
- Navigate to Project Configuration > Project from the Navigation Menu
- Navigate to Access Type
- Select Public Access from the drop-down
- Click Save
