After you have created your email template in the CMS, you will be prompted to choose from a library of pre-configured templates. These templates can then be further configured to communicate your specific event and event/organisation branding.
Below are instructions to edit and update the pre-configured templates to better suit your event communication requirements.

Update Text
The email template contains some loreum ipsum and placeholder text to indicate where your own information about your event can be placed.
To update text in the pre-configured email template:
- Select the relevant text box in the template
- Double click to edit
- Make updates as required
- Click the save icon
Update Font Colour
The email template font colours have been left neutral, however, they can be easily updated to better reflect your event or organisational branding etc.
To update font colour in the email template:
- Select the relevant text box in the template
- Click the paintbrush icon in the right-hand menu
- Expand the Typography section
- Navigate to Font Colour
- Insert a colour hex code including the #, or use the colour picker to select an appropriate colour
- Click the save icon
Replace Header Image
The email template contains a placeholder header image, which will need to be replaced with the event or organisational branding.
Header images are recommended to be 600px x 400px. This is the optimal size for the email template. Other sizes will be scaled to fit 600px width.
To replace the header image in the pre-configured email template:
- Double click the header image
- Drag and drop your header image into the box, or click the box to find the header image in your files
- Once the image has been uploaded, select the image from the right-hand list of images
- Click the X in the top right-hand corner of the image pop-up
- Click the save icon
Replace Sponsor Footer Image
The email template contains a placeholder footer image for a sponsored banner, which will need to be replaced with the event or organisational branding/sponsors.
Header images are recommended to be 600px x 100px. This is the optimal size for the email template. Other sizes will be scaled to fit 600px width.
To replace the footer image in the pre-configured email template:
- Double click the footer image
- Drag and drop your header image into the box, or click the box to find the header image in your files
- Once the image has been uploaded, select the image from the right-hand list of images
- Click the X in the top right-hand corner of the image pop-up
- Click the save icon
Remove a Feature
As this is an email template, it is expected that not all sections or features will be utilised for every event. Using the email editor, features and sections of the email template can be easily removed to better tailor the template to your needs.
To remove a feature from the pre-configured email template:
- Click the feature you wish to remove
- Click the trash can icon
- Click the save icon
Add a Feature
If there are any additional features you wish to add to your email template, you can choose from any of the existing features in the template, or other additional features. Click here for a full features list.
To add a new feature to the pre-configured email template:
- Select the appropriate feature from the right-hand menu
- Drag the feature into the email template. A green line will indicate where the feature will be placed
- Click the Save icon

Add a Background Colour
All email template will start with a white background. To better tailor the email template to your event, this can be changed.
To add a background colour to the pre-configured email template:
- Select the Mj-body of the email (click on the outer-most of the template. A blue box will display around the edge of the template
- Click the paintbrush icon in the right-hand menu
- Expand the Decorations section
- Navigate to Background Colour
- Insert a colour hex code including the #, or use the colour picker to select an appropriate colour
- Click the save icon
