Attendees will generally earn points on the leaderboard by completing actions in the app. However, you may need to assign points to an attendee for something outside of the event app or possibly award negative points.
To manually award points:
- Navigate to Profiles > View All from the Navigation Menu
- Open the profile you wish to assign points to
- Navigate to Give Points from the right-hand options
- Enter the total number of points you wish to add as a whole number (e.g. 1000)
- Enter a reason for the points
- Click Give Points
To manually deduct points:
You may need to deduct points from an attendee if they are caught cheating (e.g. spamming the app), or if a staff member is ranked too highly on the leaderboard. Assigning negative points will ensure points can be deducted from an attendee.
- Navigate to Profiles > View All from the Navigation Menu
- Open the profile you wish to assign points to
- Navigate to Give Points from the right-hand options
- Enter the total number of points you wish to deduct as a whole number with a minus sign (e.g. -1000)
- Enter a reason for the points
- Click Give Points
