Configure a Shared Password

When using a shared password, attendees will be prompted to enter the shared password (provided by the event organiser) to access the app.

Additional setup options include configuring a shared password and then prompting attendees to complete the in-app signup form when they try to access profile-related features (e.g. Activity Feed, Profile List etc.).

 

Shared Password Only

Having a shared password only will allow all attendees to access app content using a single password. This will be provided to attendees by the event organiser. 

Please note

To use any profile-related app features such as the activity feed or in-app badge, attendees must be logged into the app with a profile or registered via the in-app signup form.

To configure a shared password:

  1. Navigate to Project Configuration > Project from the Navigation Menu
  2. Navigate to Access Type
  3. Select Shared Password from the drop-down
  4. Input Shared Password
  5. Click Save

Attendees will enter a shared password and then be prompted to complete in the in-app signup form. The app will be private until the attendee uses the in-app signup form to access the event app.

To setup app with a shared password and in-app registration form:

  1. Navigate to Project Configuration > Project from the Navigation Menu
  2. Navigate to Access Type
  3. Select Shared Password from the drop-down
  4. Input Shared Password
  5. Click Save
  6. Navigate to Project Configuration > Profiles from the Navigation Menu
  7. Click the Login & Privacy tab
  8. Navigate to In-app Registration Form
  9. Select Signup Form from the drop-down list
  10. Click Save
