How to allow duplicate emails for an Eventbrite integration
Eventbrite allows duplicate email addresses to be used across multiple ticket purchases. The Core (CMS) will need to be configured to allow for these duplicate emails in order to proceed with your integration.
For example, if you are taking group bookings or attendees can register using the same email address, you must allow duplicate emails to ensure all registrations sync from Eventbrite.
To Allow Duplicate Emails
- Navigate to Project Configuration > Profiles from the Navigation menu
- Click the Profile Fields tab
- Navigate to Fixed Fields > Emails
- Click the drop-down arrow and select Allow Duplicates
Please note: enabling ‘Allow Duplicate Emails’ will prevent the use of Email + Password as a login option for your app for attendees. Instead, Username + Password will be provided instead. If this is not preferable, please contact your service provider.
