This guide is designed to get you started with facilitating your Interactive Sessions.
Regardless of which features will be used at your event, it is best to start with this guide to better acquaint yourself with the platform before diving into each feature.

Access the Control Panel
The Facilitator Dashboard is the powerhouse for your Interactive Sessions and is the only place to enable, manage and utilise all features.
To access the Control Panel
- Navigate to Interactive Sessions > Control Panel from the Navigation Menu
- Login using CMS login details or User Details
- Select the relevant event
- Select the session you wish to manage
Interactive Sessions Statuses
Opening Soon - This session is closed, please check back later
The session will appear as opening soon. Audience members will be unable to view the interactive session.
Accepting Questions - Ask questions you'd like to us to address in the session
The session will appear as accepting questions. Audience members will be able to ask questions and participate in the Live Discussion.
Live - It's go time, join the session and participate
The main state of Interactive Sessions. Use this when ready to ask questions. This option enables all three features and allows audience members to vote on questions.
Results - We're done, check out the results of the session
The session will appear as results only. Audience members will be able to view the results of any questions that were asked through Live Polling but will be unable to comment on the Live Discussion or ask questions.
Finished - It's over, thanks for coming and enjoy the rest of the event
The session will appear as finished. Audience members will be unable to view the interactive session.
Audience Display Screen
The Audience Display Screen is most commonly used to show Audience Polling questions and results, show Live Discussion comments or Submitted Questions. The display screen can also be used to display custom messages or act as a holding screen to use during a session.
Display Holding Screen
This will display the holding screen image. Essentially, whatever you had on the screen (for example, a poll or a submitted question) will be removed, and the holding screen image will display.
- Navigate to the Control Panel
- Select the event
- Click Facilitator for the relevant session
- Navigate to Dashboard and click the Holding Screen button
Audience Instructions
This is a slideshow of sorts, that can show your attendees how to vote in Audience Polling. These instructions will move from one screen to the other without you needing to touch anything
- Navigate to the Control Panel
- Select the event
- Click Facilitator for the relevant session
- Navigate to Dashboard and click the Audience Instructions button
Display a Message
This allows you to display text of your choice up on the big screen. Some examples here could include instructions for how to interact via the app, welcoming attendees to the session etc.

- Click Facilitator for the relevant session
- Navigate to Dashboard and click the Display a Message button
